When to book

  • July, August, Easter and European school holidays: book two to three months ahead; the best family rooms and sea-view rooms go first.
  • May–June and September–October: a few weeks ahead is usually enough, and prices are lower than in midsummer.
  • November–March: last-minute deals are common, but some resorts close or run reduced services — check that pools and restaurants are open.
  • Compare room-only, half-board and all-inclusive rates: all-inclusive is often good value in the Zone Touristique, where independent restaurants are spread out.
