Djerba Explore

A crocodile farm, a heritage museum and a traditional village in one park.

Djerba Explore is a large leisure park near Midoun, at the southern end of the hotel zone. It combines three things in one ticket: a crocodile farm with hundreds of Nile crocodiles, the Lalla Hadria museum of Tunisian and Islamic art, and “Djerba Heritage”, a reconstruction of traditional island buildings — a menzel, workshops, a mosque and an olive press.

It is the island’s most popular rainy-day and family attraction, and a good way to see in one place some of the architecture and crafts that are scattered across the island. Crocodile feeding sessions, held at set times, are the highlight for children.

Several GetYourGuide tours include hotel pickup and entrance; you can also go independently by taxi.
